Lismore Gem and Lapidary Club

Field Trip to Repentance Creek and Coopers Creek on Sunday 27th.
About 20 people turned up for a nice walk up the creeks on what
was a very hot day.
The new farm at Repentance Creek
turned up a few nice pieces of petrified
wood and some chalcedony of size.
Coopers creek at Murphy’s had
changed a lot from the last flooding and lived up to expectations
with some very good finds of size and quality. Rick found a nice
log shaped chalcedony of nice colours and size, the biggest I’ve
seen. Other large and varying colours were also found.
Everyone found something on the day and we were all looking
for some shade at lunch time to cool off.
It was another friendly social outing enjoyed by all on the day..
