From the President.

In response to the Prime Minister and COAG’s direction that Non-essential indoor gatherings of fewer than 100 people will no longer be permitted and Risk mitigation to be applied where:

* "In a given occupied space, there must be a density of no more than one person per four square metres of floor space."

The Lismore Gem & Lapidary Club, effective immediately, is TEMPORARILY CLOSED

"It is disappointing, but for the safety of club members and in line with the latest guide lines it's something we need to do" We need to practice social distancing .

There are many people who will be very upset by this decision, but we will reopen......

The safety and well-being of our members and visitors is paramount.

We appreciate your understanding and patience while we all work through this as a community.

The best thing we all can do is listen to Goverment advice and support local businesses where we can.

We hope everyone will join us when we reopen...
